Introduction:
The SDNR valve is a multi-purpose valve that has both the functions of a stop valve and a check valve. Its structure is similar to the globe valve, but the valve stem and the valve disc are not fixedly connected.
When the valve stem descends and presses the valve disc on the valve seat, it acts as a stop valve; when the valve stem rises, it acts as a check valve. On pipelines where both globe valves (or gate valves) and check valves need to be installed (such as the outlet of a water pump), or where the installation location is restricted (such as ships), the use of globe check valves can save installation costs and space.
