Carbon Steel Figure 8 Flanges, also known as Spectacle Blinds, are pipeline components used to isolate or allow flow by switching between a solid plate (blind) and a ring spacer.
The two parts are connected by a web, forming a shape similar to a pair of spectacles (figure-8). By rotating the assembly, operators can easily change the pipeline status between fully closed (isolation) and fully open (flow).
Manufactured from carbon steel, these flanges provide excellent strength and cost-effectiveness for general industrial applications.
