A Marine Anode is a sacrificial (galvanic) anode used in cathodic protection (CP) systems to prevent corrosion of metallic structures in marine environments, such as seawater and coastal areas. The anode protects steel or other metals by corroding preferentially, thereby extending the service life of the protected structure.
