Marine Stock Anchor
Marine stock anchor’s flukes and anchor shank are usually casted as a whole and has a cross bar which are perpendicular to the fluke plane. Stock anchor normally has double claws except some one-claw anchors. When using the stock anchor, one fluke embeds into the deep soil with great holding power. Due to the cross bar, the stock anchor is not convenient for collection. Therefore, it is mainly used for small ships.
 
Major types of stock anchor: admiralty anchor, single fluke anchor, Japan stockless anchor and so on.
 
Admiralty anchor
Admiralty anchor’s features are simple structure, great holding power(4~8), good grip stability. It is mainly used on small ships, sailing ships and fishing boats and so on.
