A Zinc Anode for Ballast Water Tank is a sacrificial anode used in cathodic protection (CP) systems to prevent corrosion inside ballast tanks of ships and offshore structures. The zinc anode is electrically connected to the steel tank structure and corrodes preferentially, thereby protecting the tank surfaces from corrosion caused by seawater exposure.
