Spectacle spade flange
A Spectacle Blind (Figure-8 Flange) consists of two metal discs connected by a web: one solid (blind) and one open (spacer). It is installed between two flanges to control flow isolation in a piping system.
Alternatively, Spade & Spacer are supplied as separate components:
- Spade (Paddle Blank) → solid plate for complete shut-off
- Spacer (Ring Spacer) → open ring for normal operation
These components are widely used in industries requiring positive isolation for maintenance, inspection, and safety.
